MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To supervise and implement the operational strategy of ER24 at a base level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- To oversee and supervise the daily operational requirements of the base
- To supervise the Human Resources of the base
- To manage the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) of the base
- To support ER24 via base-specific marketing initiatives
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
- Senior Certificate with University Entrance
- ILS Certification
DESIRED EDUCATION
- ALS Certification
- Certificate in Business Management
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ operational experience
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5 years’ operational experience
- 2 years’ management experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the EMS environment
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of all EMS qualifications with the HPCSA framework
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of all functions and processes within a private hospital environment, and how disciplines interact with each other
- Demonstrates understanding and correct application of business metrics, governance, and risk management
- Demonstrates a good understanding of contract and service level agreement (SLA) management
- Demonstrates a good understanding of Funders of Healthcare
- Demonstrates a good understanding and application of all relevant legislative regulations
- Demonstrate knowledge of Industrial Relations procedures and processes
- Demonstrate sound competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate ability in FMS (Fleet Management System), StatisticsPortal, CRS
