MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Specialist Physiotherapist / Pelvic Health Specialist provides specialized physiotherapy services for patients with pelvic health conditions (both male and female). The role involves conducting advanced assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing complex pelvic health cases. Autonomous clinical practice is required while ensuring effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver holistic patient care.
Responsibilities include service development, education, and research, contributing to the advancement of pelvic health services. Supervision and mentoring of junior staff are integral to the role, ensuring that clinical practice adheres to evidence-based guidelines and professional standards.

- Delivery of high-quality pelvic health physiotherapy care

- Compliance with clinical governance and regulatory requirements
- Support for education and training initiatives for staff and patients
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential:
B.Sc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
POGP courses
Desired
M.Sc in Physiotherapy
Basic Life Support
Mandatory training such as moving and handling
DHA accreditation or equivalent registration in country of residence
Relevant professional bodies eg., POGP, ICS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 4 years specialist experience in Pelvic Health practice
DESIRED EXPERIENCE 6 years post graduate experience
Experience working with conditions related to pelvic health
MSK experience
