MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

 Monitor the quality and compliance of clinical documentation and coding regulations to prevent risk for the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Ensures an inpatient and outpatient audit plan is in place for all the MCME Units
  • Develops the training and educational program and provide/arrange periodic trainings
  • Deliver information related to coding guidelines by regulatory bodies, DRG, clinical documentation, and CDI newsletters to all the MCME Units
  • Support the clinical and funder relation department with utilisation reporting activities

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine/ nursing
  • Certified Clinical Coder / Auditor
  • Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years DRG coding experience in a hospital environment
  • Experience managing or leading a team
