MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To support Mediclinic Middle East’s corporate communications and public relations activities through the development of accurate, engaging and consistent bilingual content, coordination of internal and external communications, media relations support, media monitoring and delivery of corporate communications initiatives.

The Specialist – Corporate Communications contributes to strengthening Mediclinic Middle East’s reputation, enhancing stakeholder engagement and maintaining consistent corporate messaging across communication channels. The role works collaboratively with internal departments, external agencies, media representatives and other stakeholders to ensure that communications are timely, accurate, aligned with organisational values and compliant with established approval and governance requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.

DESIRED EDUCATION
  • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in communications or public relations.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or media relations.
  • Experience in healthcare communications, either in-house or with a PR agency managing healthcare clients.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting, editing and coordinating corporate communications for different audiences.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in UAE healthcare communications and the local media environment.
  • Experience coordinating corporate events, media activities and communications initiatives.
  • Experience using media monitoring platforms and preparing communications performance reports.
  • Experience developing and reviewing bilingual corporate content.
