MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure effective and efficient pharmacy services regarding narcotics and controlled medicines procuring, endorsing, distributing, and dispensing services are delivered in a manner that complies with all relevant patient safety and healthcare regulatory requirements and governmental regulations and Laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To ensure effective and efficient dispensing of narcotic and controlled medicines, incident reporting, ADR, and medication safety program
To ensure effective inventory management practices are implemented, monitored , and managed and stock is managed accordingly
To ensure compliance with related requirements set by the governmental authorities and Hospital to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are adhered to
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Pharm D or a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a accredited pharmacist with at least 2 years in the narcotics department, and inpatient pharmacy
