Which documents are required for my application?

You are required to upload a CV or resume and to complete your relevant personal details on your profile.

Can I apply by email?

Only online applications received via the Career portal will be accepted.

What if I don't find a suitable position?

We would recommend that you sign up for our Job Alerts. These will provide you with regular updates listing current vacancies that match your requirements.

Can I apply for several positions?

Yes, applications are processed by different recruitment teams.

When will I receive a response to my application?

You will receive a confirmation of receipt upon submitting your application. Further communication will follow once your application has been reviewed.

Can I reapply after my application is rejected?

You are welcome to apply for any other vacancies. There could be many reasons why your application might not have been successful and you could be a fit for a different position.

I have found another job. Should I withdraw my application with Mediclinic?

Yes, please withdraw your application through your online application profile.

I am trying to register a new profile and have received a system message that my email address already exists.

This means you already have a registered profile. If you cannot remember your password, click on ‘Forgot your password?’. A password reset will be sent to your email.

Can I apply using my mobile device?

The website is accessible on all mobile devices, and you will be able to view and apply for positions.

I am a Mediclinic employee. How do I apply for positions within the Group?

Employees can view all advertised positions on their Connect profile. Access the Connect system and click on the Careers tile to view and apply for opportunities. Alternatively click on the Employee Login button in the header of the career site to access the internal site.

What documents do I need to submit and what should I keep in mind?

From the outset please send us all your application documents using the “apply online” button on the job you are interested in. Your application should include the following documents as PDF files:

  • Cover letter
  • Complete CV
  • Qualifications and certificates
  • Work references
  • Additional visas/permits (for foreign applicants)

Convert your Word documents to PDFs using one of the many available tools. To scan certificates, you can also use a smartphone if it is equipped with the appropriate scanning software.

What if I am unable to find a suitable position?

If you do not find a suitable position, we recommend you Join our Talent Community. This will provide you with regular updates listing the current job vacancies that match your interests (Alternatively, you can also send us an unsolicited application, but your chances are better if you apply for a specific position). If you send an unsolicited application, remember to include all your documents and use the cover letter to explain exactly what you are looking for and when you will be available.

Can I apply for several positions at the same clinic (or in the corporate office), or at several different Hirslanden clinics?

Yes. The applications are processed by different recruitment partners who work in-house in the clinics and the corporate office. It is possible, for example, that you might then be invited to two job interviews.

How long does the recruitment process normally take?

It will normally take around six weeks from posting the vacancy on the Career site to extending a job offer. This includes the time it takes to advertise the role and source, screen, assess and select a suitable candidate.

The United Arab Emirates has strict regulations governing medical licensing and immigration which can add significant time to onboarding and joining. Our team of experts will guide you through the process if your application to join us is successful.

When will my application be considered?

You are welcome to apply for any position if your skills and experience match the minimum requirements, as stated in the advertisement.

Your application will be considered regardless of nationality and gender, but please note that preference will be given to United Arab Emirates nationals in accordance with official regulations.

What are the working hours?

We work a five-day week.
The weekend falls on a Friday and Saturday.
Many of our jobs require shift and weekend work. Please verify the specific details of the job you are applying for.
