MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage the procurement and billing of specialised products in theatre stores
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Ensure optimal specialised products availability in theatre
Perform stock holding processes pertaining to specialised products
Ensure accurate billing of specialised products
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification
DESIRED EDUCATION: Relevant Short Courses or Certificates
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Pharmacy stock control experience in a private hospital environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Consignment stock and loan set experience in a theatre environment
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Procedure policies and procedures
- Business Intelligence report analysis
- Stock holding processes
- Medical aid benefits regulations and formularies
- Surgical products and prosthesis knowledge
- Pharmacy Stock System
