MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure quality management (request, receive, store,maintain and distribution) of stock to various hospital departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Stock replenishment

Perform the receiving function for stock procurement

Issuing of Stock (Store Clerk logistical role)

Stock balance review and stock takes

Organisation of store

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:  Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification

DESIRED EDUCATION:  Relevant Certificates and/or Short Courses

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:  1 year experience in an Inventory / Procurement / Stock Control environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience in a similar role / Healthcare environment / SAP proficiency

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • SAP Accounting Software
  • Stock management processes
  • Receipt and distribution of stock
  • Occupational Health and Safety
