MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Provide general administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations in the provision of Training and Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Provide administrative support to Training and Development Department
- Provide general office administration
- Provide reception and telephone services
REQUIRED EDUCATION
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Grade 12
DESIRED EDUCATION: Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Administrative skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Training and Development policies and procedures
- Understanding and application of telephone etiquette
- Understanding of stock control principles
- Event planning and coordination
- Formatting and styling of written communication (i.e. memos, letters, emails, study guides, mail merge)
- Organisational skills
- Nursing structure within a hospital and learning centre context
