MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To set the strategic, clinical, commercial and operational direction and provide leadership for Mediclinic Renal Services. The role is responsible for leading the development and execution of Mediclinic Renal Services' long-term strategy to create maximum value for Mediclinic Southern Africa. This will also include identifying new business development opportunities and optimising and standardising existing services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Provide strategic, clinical, commercial and operational direction/leadership for Renal Services in line with corporate goals
- Drive business growth and development
- Manage and mitigate clinical risks, operational risks and ensure continuous quality improvement
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Oversee and manage finances
- Lead and manage the people within the team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Relevant healthcare degree or commercial degree
DESIRED EDUCATION
Medical or Clinical degree and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
5 years of management experience
3 years general management experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in a private healthcare environment
Experience in Renal Dialysis Industry
