MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure accurate project reporting and continuous supplier satisfaction by administering the full accounts payable function and providing project administration support. This includes processing supplier payments timeously and accurately, in accordance with accounting procedures and building project requirements, to help mitigate and control financial risk to Mediclinic.

  • Accounts Payable Administration
  • Technical Project Administration
  • Fixed Asset Systems Administration 

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  •  Senior Certificate with Accounting as a subject

DESIRED EDUCATION

  • Financial diploma

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE  

  • 3 years of accounts payable experience

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • SAP system experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial environment

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Accounting transactions
  • General financial administration (invoices, debit and credit notes, Goods Received Notes (GRN’s), cost allocations)
  • SARS requirements (VAT invoice regulations)
  • Vendor Creation and BBBEE Administration
  • Project system administration, including creation of technical projects and settlement rules
  • Creditors reconciliations
  • SAP system
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Communication Skills – Verbal and Written
