MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To guide and direct overall supply chain strategy operations for MCSA, aligned with Group strategy, which includes procurement, warehousing and distribution, inventory control and commercial negotiations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Set and provide strategic direction for the Procurement and Supply Chain function, aligned to Group Strategy
- Lead and direct inventory operations
- Monitor and manage governance and risks associated with the master data/price file and central profile
- Manage and mitigate financial, political and regulatory risks related to supply chain management
- Manage supplier key accounts and stakeholder relations
- Lead and manage people within the Procurement and Supply Chain function
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
A relevant bachelor’s degree
DESIRED EDUCATION
Postgraduate/additional qualification in business management or procurement-related
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
At least 8 - 10 years’ experience in a senior management role within a corporate supply chain management environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Five years or more managing supply chains in a private healthcare environment
