MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure quality management (request, receive, store,maintain and distribution) of stock to various hospital departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Stock replenishment
  • Perform the receiving function for stock procurement
  • Issuing of Stock (Store Clerk logistical role)
  • Stock balance review and stock takes
  • Organisation of store

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: 

  • Grade 12

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

  • Relevant experience in a procurement / financial / Stock control environment.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Previous experience as a storeman/ administrative position; Experience in a healthcare environment and SAP proficiency.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • SAP Accounting Software
  • Stock management processes
  • Receipt and distribution of stock
  • Occupational Health and Safety
